Description

This 6 1/2 hour class includes a tour of Labor and Delivery and is offered one Saturday each month. Topics includes: anatomy and physiology of the labor process, hospital interventions, Cesarean sections, post-partum and Lamaze breathing and relaxation techniques. A Partner or Coach is welcome to attend. Registration is required and requested at least one month prior to class date. St. Joseph's offers a variety of classes to help prepare you for life with baby. Classes offered are Childbirth, Successful Breastfeeding, Infant Resuscitation Basic Skills and On-line Childbirth Education Class.
