Patients suffering from lung problems now have a new resource for their care. The St. Elizabeth Pulmonary Health and Research Center, located on the St. Elizabeth Health Center Campus in Youngstown, is focused on the efficient treatment of a wide range of pulmonary issues. The experienced physicians and staff offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for patients with respiratory diseases including, but not limited to the following:  
  • Respiratory symptoms: Cough,Difficulty breathing
  • Airway/Airflow obstruction: Asthma,COPD, Chronic bronchitis, Emphysema, Bronchiectasis, Cystic fibrosis, Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency
  • Interstitial lung diseases: Pulmonary fibrosis, Sarcoidosis
  • Exposure to Occupational and Environmental Hazards: Asbestos,Silica, Hypersensitivity pneumonitis
  • Lung cancer
  • Abnormal chest x-ray: Lung nodule
  • Lung infections: Pneumonia, Tuberculosis, Non-tuberculosis mycobacteria (NTM), Mycobacterium avian complex (MAC), Fungi
