Program Benefits and Information

Residency Start Date: The last week of June. Resident(s) will attend a one-week hospital orientation for new residents. Resident(s) are eligible for benefits starting July 1st.

Staffing Requirement: Every other weekend

Stipend: $38,000

Benefits: A comprehensive benefits package includes health care and prescription coverage, dental and vision coverage, life insurance,  and optional participation in a 403b program.

Paid Time Off: Total of 15 days

Professional Time Off: A minimum of 10 days

Travel Reimbursement: Hotel, transportation or mileage, meeting registration and food

Holiday Requirement: Resident works only 1 holiday. Resident receives 5 hospital recognized holidays off with pay.

Parking: Free in a covered garage

Additional Resources Available: Medical library at hospital; media resources/graphic artists for assistance with poster presentations; research department for assistance with residency project; resident office space, desk and computer; and a free employee fitness center. Residents participating in the teaching certificate program will be given a faculty appointment of Clinical Instructor at the Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Pharmacy and will have access to the University’s intranet (DOCS), course management system (AIMS), and extensive library resources.
