Transitional Residency
Curriculum
Residents will take call during general internal medicine, general Surgery and medical intensive care unit rotations. Residents may take call on other rotations, if desired. The St. Elizabeth Health Center Transitional Year faculty are committed to help residents create, design and customize their educational experience needed to ensure preparedness for future training.
The required rotations include the following:
Ambulatory Medicine (1 month)
Emergency Medicine (1 month)
General Surgery (2 months)
Internal Medicine (3 months)
Medical Intensive Care Unit (1 month)
Electives (4 months)
