James F. Kravec, M.D., is a 2002 graduate of the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his medical residency in internal medicine with Summa Health System Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio from 2002 to 2005. While completing his residency, he was selected as Resident of the Year of Summa Health System, Resident of the Year of the Internal Medicine Center of Summa and the Summa Medical Student Teacher of the Year. He completed his undergraduate degree at Youngstown State University in 1998. Dr. Kravec is a 2013 graduate of the Leadership Academy through Catholic Health Partners, now Mercy Health, and the Centers for Creative Leadership.
His medical interests include pre-operative medical evaluations, hospice and palliative care, medical education and well-adult care. He practices internal medicine in Youngstown, Ohio at St. Elizabeth Health Center and serves as Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He is currently President and Chairman of the Board of Mercy Physicians Youngstown, the physician enterprise for Humility of Mary Heath Partners. He is dually board certified, in Internal Medicine as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine and is Associate Medical Director at Hospice of the Valley. He served as the founding chairman of the St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center Ethics Committee.
He is a NEOMED associate professor of internal medicine, is the Section Chief of General Internal Medicine for NEOMED and is the Clerkship Director for Internal Medicine at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He is also Program Director of the Transitional Year Residency Program and a core faculty member with the Internal Medicine Residency Program at St. Elizabeth. He currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the St. Elizabeth Medical Staff.
He has served as a member of the NEOMED Alumni Association Board of Directors from 2002 to 2013 and as its president from 2007 to 2012. He has also served as a member of the NEOMED Foundation Board from 2004 to 2013. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Lumen Christi Catholic Schools Board of Directors in Youngstown, Ohio and Chairman of its Fundraising and Development Committee.
Dr. Kravec is married to Dr. Cynthia Kravec and has 4 children, James (age 8), Sarah (age 6), Michael (age 2) and Maria (age 1). They live in Canfield, Ohio.

Dr. Huang received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. He completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Louisville (Louisville, KY) and a General Surgery Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is board certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
Dr. Huang’s academic interests including teaching and outcomes based research. He resides in the Youngstown area, and his hobbies/interests include reading, running, and cooking.
