3 North/West Surgical Services

  • Fully-integrated rooms allow laparoscopic video, radiology and vascular images to be viewed on any of the room monitors at the touch of a computer screen.
  • Each surgical suite incorporates boom technology, which clears the operating room floor by suspending all medical equipment from the ceiling. Specialized flooring implanted with an antibacterial agent allows for advanced infection control throughout the surgical area.
  • Polymer lighting fixtures rotate, pitch, and roll 360 degrees and are designed to provide a maximum intensity natural light source while reducing glare and eye-strain.
  • The main operating room is located on the third floor of Saint Elizabeth Health Center and includes the main operating room area for inpatient, AM admission, and outpatient surgery, the preoperative assessment room and postoperative recovery room (Phase I and Phase II) and the line room.
  • The operating room is adjacent to SICU, CVICU, Emergency Department, CVL, and Radiology.
