St. Elizabeth Health Center Department of Surgery adheres to the requirements of The Joint Commission, an organization providing  accreditation to hospitals that comply with standards of performance, and the Surgical Care Improvement Project (SCIP), a national quality organization under contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to monitor the selection and administration of antibiotics for surgical patients.
